Can I get help from sponsors if I'm married to a disabled man when I'm 18 yeas old?
I am at this point at adulthood in my life. So my family is helping me move out of the house by November. Which when all the papers for Section 8 housing should be completed. Basically I'm already living adulthood. Since my Step-dad offered me a job on the marine base were he works as a contractor. I'm supposed to be my dad's secretary. Which the base has decided to allow after I'm 18 . so after my 18th birthday in October I am moving out. While still in high school (my senior year). You could say I am if not close to living the life of a college student and/or an adult while still in high school. Here's the main part. I'm engaged long distance. I have mild cerebral palsy. He has even more of a challenge with being in his wheel chair and mental challenge (mild) families have approved but we are doing it most on our own. We are getting married after my High School is over with. And since I'm moving to his city for college. There is more opportunity for both of us in Phoenix. My question is are there any centers where both "Jim" and I can get jobs as well as is there an agency that can help me take care of "Jim" as well on any basis? Please help I've known "Jim" for almost 5 years am well known of his condition, am experienced with working with kids and adults with disabilities am making a promise to do my part. And "Jim" is as well excited to do his. We both need our chance, any help?
