I bought a used car private party can i sue?

OK more detail.... Thursday i bought a 94 ford explorer used off of private party i got a receipt and scheduled to pick it up Friday.She calls me Friday says trucks ready all paper works complete so i pick it up and drive it home. Well when i got home i realized she didn't sign title or have notarized so i called her set up meet place and time. She didn't show still to today i cant get ahold of her and she wont meet me or sign title now the truck is broke down and im sick of dealing with her. my question is what are my chances of winning if i sue her? truck is still in her name i have receipt. can any one help i really need to get this took care of.
