Electric Guitar Sharp Octave?

I just recently bought a new guitar, its an Ibanez g10 with a tremolo bridge. The problem is the can be perfectly in tune, but when the octave is played it is noticeably sharp. I have tried loosening and tightening the bridge saddles but that doesn't really affect anything. Please help if there are any experienced guitar techs out there!!!
