I am 17 years old and i have a felony marijuana distribution charge could i still play basketball in college?

I am on a yoa probation in southcarolina witch means ill be able to get the charge expunged after 5 years I play basketball very good I'm 6`5 and still growing I really am a gud person I made a big mistake but I want to go to college and make sumthing of my self with my god given talent
