Question about blood sugar in non-diabetic?

Ok if you are not dianosed with diabetes will your blood sugar always be normal no matter what you eat? I have not been diagnosed. I was just wondering if I eat a bunch of Christmas candy and then check my blood sugar will it read normal or do non-diabetics still get a little high blood sugar after eating too many sweets?
